My rating: 4 of 5 stars
We quickly met our adorable Beth and her best friend Milly! What an adorable duo while Beth opens her new bakery, the descriptions for said bakery made me thing of this cute recently opened bakery near me which I just loved since I went to try it almost a year ago. The atmosphere that mcKenzie gave us throughout the small novel was perfect for the mystery. I wonder what the next one will hold?
The front cover is also so cute, perfect with more cutesy then mystery. Only gave this 4.5 stars due to I wished there was more substance, more information and more chapters. This could of easily kept going but I felt the author, mcKenzie, wanted to finish it up. Although, this could not be the case and this might of been exactly what the author wished.
The ending though was a spin from a start. I had to reread it to make sure I was not dreaming haha. Great work!
