Apart from writing, Bella loves to spend time with her husband, daughter, and family. She also loves to read, listen to music, cook meals that were passed down to her, and take photographs. She mostly takes pictures of her family (when they let her) and her three dogs.

My review
First book I’ve read from Corte and in the series. Not sure if it can be read as a standalone but here we are. I really really enjoyed Mercenary and was swept away by the details and description of everything.
The story was very intoxicating especially with our perfect couple Alcina and Corrado. Hot passon and a messy good story about love, power and family is tied together with a steamy bow.
When coming for a mafia romance you want it to have drama of course but also revenge, secrets, suspense and a dash of emotions. Corte delivered with Mercenary by just having you fall in love with the characters she so deliciously crafted.
I highly recommend Mercenary to any mafia romance fan. Even plain romance people would enjoy this read as it doesn’t disappointed in the romance box at all.
